The Department of Fine Arts at Baba Guru Nanak University, Nankana Sahib is dedicated to nurturing creativity and artistic excellence. Program Overview

The BS Fine Arts program is a four-year degree (8 semesters) designed as per HEC guidelines. It combines studio practice with art history and theory, covering drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and design. Students work in well-equipped studios and participate in exhibitions and projects.

Eligibility Criteria for BS Fine Arts

Admission to the BS Fine Arts program is based on academic merit and, where applicable, portfolio review or interview. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements as set by the university and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

  • Intermediate (FA / FSc / HSSC) or equivalent in any group.
  • Minimum marks as prescribed by the university (typically 45% or equivalent for general category).
  • Domicile of Punjab or as per university admission policy.
  • Merit and/or portfolio/interview as determined by the department.
