The BS English program is a four-year degree (8 semesters) designed as per HEC guidelines. It covers English language skills, linguistics, literary history and theory, and major texts from British, American, and world literatures. Students develop strong analytical and communication skills through seminars, presentations, and written work.
Admission to the BS English program is based on academic merit and fulfillment of the following criteria. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements as set by the university and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
The BS English degree follows an 8-semester structure with core courses in language, linguistics, and literature, along with general education. The curriculum builds from foundational language and composition to advanced literary periods, theory, and optional research in later semesters.
